Our speciality
The De-Shed
De-shedding is not just a bath. It's a double shampoo to lift the coat, a conditioning treatment to loosen the undercoat, and then a proper, patient brush-out with the right tools until the dead coat is out rather than on your couch.
Heavy-coated breeds — Labradors, German Shepherds, Boerboels, Huskies, Ridgebacks, Border Collies and every crossbreed in between — carry an undercoat that a normal wash barely touches. That undercoat is what ends up on your floors, your car and your clothes.
It reduces shedding dramatically for four to six weeks. It doesn't stop shedding — nobody can promise that, and anyone who does isn't being straight with you.

We're based in Dal Fouche and cover Springs and the surrounding East Rand. Springs, Brakpan and Benoni have no travel charge. Further out — Boksburg, Kempton Park, Bedfordview and Edenvale — we add R150 for travel, and we'll always tell you before you book, never after. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
We work inside security estates and complexes regularly. If your estate needs the vehicle registered, a copy of our details or a specific access procedure, tell us when you book and we'll sort it out with the gate before the day.
Questions
The things people ask us first.
Do you really come to my house?
Yes. That's the whole business. We park outside, and everything happens in the wagon on your property. Your dog doesn't get in a car and neither do you.
Do you need my water or electricity?
No. The wagon carries its own water and its own power. Load-shedding doesn't cancel your appointment and water restrictions don't stop us.
My dog is nervous about grooming. Can you still help?
This is usually exactly why people call us. There's no cage, no other dogs barking, no strange building. Your dog stays on their own property with you nearby, which takes most of the fear out of it before we've started.
Do you groom cats?
Yes, gently, including lion cuts. Cat bath and blow-dry is R380, a full groom is from R550.
What does a groom include?
Every single groom includes nails, ears, a full brush-out, cologne and a bandana. There's no charge for those and we don't add them on afterwards.
How long does it take?
A wash is usually around an hour. A full groom on a medium dog is closer to two. Heavy de-shedding takes longer — we'd rather take the time than rush a dog.
Which areas do you cover?
Dal Fouche, Selcourt, Selection Park, Pollak Park, Casseldale, Struisbult and the surrounding Springs suburbs. If you're near the edge of that, just ask.
What if I have three dogs?
One visit sorts all of them, and it gets cheaper — R50 off the second dog at the same address and R80 off the third.
